Five Star, good Sandwiches, small and cosy lots of locals to get insider hints about this part of Malmoe, multi langual and takes good care of their customers, no expensive fancy stuff to get distract by, hand made breakfast 'smörebröd' and a good view of the Modera Museum.

Small and COZY! Surprisingly inexpensive - considering the prime location! A real "no frills" - unpretentious café! Basic, simple, uncomplicated - I LOVE IT! GOOD COFFEE! Excellent sandwiches! (Actually I'm getting hungry just writing this! BUT they close soon)! Excellent staff - always friendly, smiling and welcoming! Early bird opening hours! BUT! I can see how the people in the neighbourhood go here for breakfast! It's been called the "Taxi café"! Because a lot of taxidrivers used to go there in the morning! But now it's mainly locals and it's a nice "socialising spot" I can WARMLY RECOMMEND THIS! It's a true "hidden gem" of Malmö!

Not anything like the kind of places I would normally search after. But I inexplicably liked it anyway. The coffee is nothing special and most cake were store bought (though they bake some things inhouse). The sandwiches in the breakfast package were fine (but again nothing special). That being said, that is apparently not the goal. The feel of the place is like something from a former Malmö, a Malmö from decades ago. Everything was inexpensive, it felt like I got what a paid for. Simple and easy, decor creating a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Old people reading the days news. Radio playing rock music. Staff (perhaps owner) seemed to know most of the customers and was friendly and relaxed with everybody. A nice experience, I would come back if I was in the neighborhood at breakfast time. Not wheelchair accessible btw.
