Kōlds grundare är två nyfikna individualister, Peter och Alex, som var och en har rest runt i världen under sina studier och karriärer. Men de har aldrig varit för upptagna för att kolla in den lokala matscenen.
Som två passionerade amatörkockar tog de med sig idéer in i köket för att skapa och experimentera. Det var deras intresse för mat och spännande ingredienser som ledde till deras första möte i San Francisco, där de båda arbetade 2013.
En dag slog de två matentusiasterna sina kloka huvuden ihop och började experimentera med glass. Men det var inte bara gräddglassen som stod i fokus. Alex är vegan och från det kom idén att experimentera med glass baserad på kokosnöt och cashewnötter. De kom överens om att ta med sig sina idéer tillbaka till Sverige, där de grundade Kōld AB i Malmö 2015.
Resultatet av deras stora passion är glass i världsklass, där nya unika smaker ständigt utvecklas. Till exempel är glass med chèvreost, öl eller szechuanpeppar bara ett litet extrakt av de spännande smakerna du hittar på Kōld. Ett besök på Kōld är ett besök i ett smakuniversum med ingredienser från världens alla hörn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place, just plain awesome. They have tons of different ice creams that all are great, and also made with different types of milk (You can get dairy, cashew etc). I was blown away by the Angostura ice cream.
The owner and people there are super friendly and an energy explosion, love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ice creams you can get at this place are very unique and interesting. With this uniqueness there are some flavors that work and some that don't work for different pallets. I highly encourage trying the different flavors that they offer. They do change their flavors every now and then. The ice cream is definitely more expensive but they are very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Officially my favorite ice cream shop in Malmö! I would personally recommend trying the plate with 6 ice creams so you can try many flavors at once. We did that and then we bought a big bucket of the salted caramel flavor to bring home because it was sooooooo good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ice cream! Original flavours and several vegan options. There was even ice cream for dogs! The people working there were really lovely and helpful, and didn't get mad over how indecisive we were over flavour choices ?
Can't wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best ice cream I’ve had in Europe. The flavors are always so unique and incredible. I’ve been at least 20 times in 2 months since discovering it and never once been disappointed. The staff has some of the best customer service I have experienced in Sweden and really takes their time to make sure you taste plenty of flavors and explains what makes them all unique. Absolutely incredible. I’d recommend Köld more than any other business in Malmö in any category. Would buy stock in this place if I could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to go with a taste tray and we’re confused about the rating. We didn’t even finish the ice cream, I would not recommend it. They don’t have a good consistency, not smooth more like ice crystals and none of them were tasting good, some were okey not more.
