★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Har alltid varit den naturliga platsen för allmänflygare för tankning om man inte har bränsle "hemma" på hemmafältet. Flygplatsen har utvecklats sedan min första landning, någon sa då "man kan köpa varm choklad i Everöd". Vilket hade stor betydelse vintern 79. Enda sättet att ta sig till Danmark, var att flyga. Båtarna i sundet var infrysta. Bron var inte äns påtänkt. Då och nu är ESMK skånes livlina till kontinenten och världen.
Has always been the natural place for general aviation refueling if you do not have fuel "at home" on the home field. The airport has been evolving since my first landing, someone then said "you can buy hot chocolate in Everöd". Which was of great importance in winter 79. The only way to get to Denmark was to fly. The boats in the strait were frozen. The bridge was not even envisaged. Then and now ESMK is spared the lifeline to the continent and the world.

Check in is fast.
There were about 2-3 shops.
Very expensive.
Winds are sometimes pretty strong during landing.Great views from the plane window.
Looks like airport is in a forrest clearing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's absolutely nothing to do at this airport while you wait. Daily flights to Stockholm and to Turkey during the tourist season. No free public Wi-Fi last time I checked. No public transportation between the airport and the nearest city, which is Kristianstad.
