Music is way too high ?

Smaller than ever, the place has lost the charm it's had from years ago. It's more of a beer hall than sporting the kind of quaint burlesque-ness it did back in the day. It's got beer.

Quite expensive but the food was good. This time I was eating in the sandwich bar on the side

Good service. Ordered 11 different dishes. Food was tampered with too much and took too long between courses. Oysters were fresh. Soft shell crab was oily & the batter, thick and greasy and the garnish disguised but didn't complement the crab in any way. Mussels were too salty and overboiled, so rubbery and tough. The cod was overcooked and very oily, salty and too creamy/buttery, it looked sad and dry. There was more focus on presentation and the food needed more acidity or at least a lemon on each plate instead of having to reluctantly try and rescue the food with the giant tobasco bottle staring at you on the table. The Cajun/New Orleans-inspired food looked like it had so much potential but it wasn't executed with enough love and precision. I will not be returning.

I've lived in the neighbourhood for 10 years. The past years ML has been my natural choice for burgers in the area. Although they were kinda pricy I always felt like I got what I expected. Recently that hasn't been the case. I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning last time I ordered from ML and this time I didn't even finish the burger. Not only did it taste horrible and look disgusting, I was pretty sure that I'd get sick again if I finished it. If you're considering ML, help yourself and go somewhere else... your stomach is going to thank you tomorrow.

Went to the club in the cave, but not the restaurant. Was very good, since atmosphere, music and guests were fitting very well. Guests are a bit hipster and the music more electronic. I really liked the fact that you have the chance to have a sit upstairs next to the restaurant where it is quiet. You dont hsve to get a drink there and it is plenty of space available.

Asked if they had any sour beers. Got eye rolls and recommended a weissbier that is 0% sour. Generally not happy to take questions in the bar even when there is no line.
