Restaurang Nils - Regementsgatan 56

Burger was seriously overcooked and strangely dense. Maybe this would pass for a restaurant-class burger in 2005, but now when there are so many burger places showing how it’s done... this is just inexcusable for 160 SEK. Also charging 35 SEK for 33cl of soda is a complete ripoff. Nils tried to play itself as some fancy type of restaurant, but if you can’t make a simple burger, that says a lot about your capabilities.

Good food and very nice relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely terrace and great food at very reasonable prices. During lunchtime, the offer is great and includes a salad buffet, as well as coffee - I was surprised by the quality of the cod I ordered and the way it was presented. A great choice indeed - so I warmly recommend this place!

Update: 1 year later I went back for another lunch. Service was fantastic and very friendly, food was great. --- I've been meaning to try this place for a while mainly because I've heard good things. I came here for lunch on a weekday. Overall, the menu sounded good, but the food was just "fine" and the service really lacked, but the decor was nice. Service: Seriously waitresses. Does it really pain you so much to just put a smile on your face. The overall attitude was "we really don't care about anything here". When we arrived we stood by the door for a good minute or two before the waitress even looked up from her computer. Only to slowly walk over to us and not greet us at all. Not a single thank you, greeting, or smile, during the entire lunch. Ok...? Food: I orded the sirloin steak. I cut the steak and it was basically completely raw. Maybe it was my fault for not specifying how I wanted it cooked, but the waitress never asked me, and I don't usually assume "raw" is the default. I asked to get it seared a bit more, and it returned much better. However, the steak was super tough. The sauce and potato was good, but quite salty.

It's a good job they had heaters, because waiting for my pint took longer than it takes me to cook a lasagne. Pretentious, pricey, and ponderous.

All the food was amazing, entrecote was tender and beautifully made, the baked potatoes were really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, so it was love at first sight. Nils, we ll see again soon!

We booked a table for lunch. A welcoming waiter gave us two tables ( during covid pandemic they could not seat us more then 4 together and we were 5) facing the main road. We all took fish and chips. Nice and crispy. I will come back to taste something else.

Great food. Had many different waitress ranging from nice and helpful to not so nice and helpful. Might have just been a bad day. I do recommend
