Saigon Stories | Vietnamese Streetfood - Saigonstories.se

Imagine the streets of Saigon…

…a bustle of people, mopeds and bicycles, with people stopping on the side of the road to enjoy a warming bowl of food before they keep going about their day. Imagine rickety tables with plastic chairs, and large families and groups of friends talking loudly and gesticulating with their chopsticks in the air while they help themselves to spring rolls and spicy meatballs. Imagine warm, heartfelt tastes with heaps of crispy greens and sauces that add fire, depth, sweetness and zing.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Food is tasty but nothing out of this world. They serve bowls and pho.

Worst Viet I've ever had. My noodle salad was absolutely drowned in dressing so it was more like a soup, bad quality pork belly, was 90% fat and not cooked out. So disappointing. Chef obviously doesn't know what Viet food is meant to be like.

The pho is not very tasty and quite expensive, the staff provide really good service

Nice athmosphere, but unfortunqtely the worst Bahn Mi I’ve had in Stockholm. Small pre-made Coop baguette, no cilantro and some weird sauce on the side.

Food lacks the vibrancy of Vietnamese food, portion is small, and the price is sky high for a lunch box. The worst part, they tried to charge me 40kr for an extra bowl of plain, boiled rice. This place is a joke. More like Saigon Horror Stories.

I had the pho: Very small portions and flavors are nothing special. I even added ”extra noodles” and ended up hungry. The noodles were cut short (max 5cm lengt) which made it more a stew than a noodle soup, and the cilantro was yellow. Not at all worth the 150kr!
