Saiko - Sankt Knuts väg 7

When I moved here I was told how lucky I was to be so close to Saiko, so I was quite excited the first (only) time I visited. Unfortunately, we felt the place was pretentious and expensive, even for Sweden. 2 of us ordered 6 or 7 dishes plus 2 drinks (2,400kr), which were good, but we left feeling underwhelmed & still hungry. If you're looking for a place where you leave feeling full then don't go here unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. Not for me The service, though, was excellent.

Best meal for years. I can't recommend this enough

The best sushi in Malmö in my opinion. Not your everyday sushi, quite special. Some of the pieces are delicious and the other are great! Haven't had a single bad piece. It is kinda pricey and maybe not the place to visit every weekend but if you are in Malmö for a visit, like sushi and want to try something special you should most definitely go here.

Hands down the best sushi in Malmoe. Very friendly and professional staff, nice atmosphere and superb food. Be sure to try the japas!

This was a delightful taste journey and that they had umeshu (japanese plum wine) was the jackpot for me.

My friend and I went here for dinner tonight and they are amazing. They are so friendly, and open. The food was amazing and they even worked with my picky taste buds. They mix amazing flavors together that you wouldn't even think is possible. It is a rare place indeed. Prices were a little high but totally worth it.

I’ll be honest.. it’s a very nice place but your money doesn’t go far here. I left extremely hungry and not sure if I actually had sushi or just fish dishes. Service was great. Maybe recommend for a fun thing to try but not a whole meal ?? Update: Gave this place a second chance… it did not deliver. The server was incredibly rude and at one point said “see you on TripAdvisor, we don’t care” only because my friend wanted to keep her soy sauce from one dish to the next. Well, we live here. Yes, we are primarily English speaking. My nigiri NEVER came and we waited a long time between plates. Still hungry.

Ordered the tasting menu as that's the only way to roll, por favor. Started out nice with some pickled and kimchi vege whoch was then followed up with gyoza , chicken, tempura and then horse-tartare. I was not particulary impressed overall as I had heard a lot of great things but the taste sensation was quite mediocre, especially the ketchup (?) Sauce and non-tasting tempura batter. It feels like a bit of a stretch to give this a 4 out of 5 should i compare it to similar experiences such as Toso in Gothenburg (5 out of 5 erryday).
